Confused by all of the photography terminology in your camera’s manual? In this introduction to shooting with a digital SLR camera, the instructor will begin with an overview of photo basics such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO. The basic functions of the digital SLR camera like the use of various dials and buttons, menus, white balance and priority settings will also be covered. This class is a great start if you just purchased your camera and want to get familiar with what it can do.
A digital single-lens reflex camera (digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that directs light from the lens to an optical viewfinder on the back of the camera. Its functions can be controlled manually and generally has interchangeable lenses.
