Personal Vision: Creating a Body of Work 
with Galina Kurlat

Now that you have refined your technical skills, learn how to develop and create a successful body of photographic work. This four-day course will outline the elements of a cohesive portfolio and guide you in establishing a theme, identifying shooting opportunities and editing the results. You will also be assisted in constructing a meaningful statement about your work as well as a professional artist biography. Group critiques will provide an opportunity for a useful exchange of ideas that will foster the growth of new approaches to your photography.    

What students need to bring: Photographs to critique, Flash drive or storage device
 
Suggested classes to continue education: Presenting Your Work, Exhibiting Your Work: Getting Your Work Out There
 
Suggested reading: Criticizing Photographs: An Introduction to Understanding Images by Terry Barrett
