Learn about the history of nature and landscape photography and then practice it yourself! This workshop will begin with an introductory lecture on nature and landscape photography, using examples from both historic and contemporary photographers. Optional equipment for the field session will also be discussed. The second meeting will be on location at a park. During the group shoot in the park, you will receive hands-on instruction for photographing under differing lighting conditions (afternoon and sunset). For the final meeting, students will show an edited presentation of their work as part of a group critique and discussion of technical issues.
