Texas Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrushes and Field Poppies ---there are so many gorgeous Texas Blooms that seem to be just waiting to be photographed! In this workshop, you will learn tips and tricks that will enable you to capture your very best wildflower images. The first meeting will begin with an introductory lecture on nature and landscape photography, using examples from both historic and contemporary photographers. The instructor will also discuss the necessary and optional equipment to bring for the field session. For the second meeting, students will meet at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park for an on-location shoot. You will receive plenty of guidance as you walk the trails, shooting from afternoon light through sunset. For the final meeting, back at HCP, students will present a selection of their wildflower images for group critique; here you will have the opportunity to seek additional guidance on technical issues.
