5:00 PM - 10:00 PM The Figure in Photography with Galina Kurlat 5:00 - 10:00pm January 22 $150 HCP Members / $190 non-members Level: Advanced Class Size: 4 Students Description: This workshop is designed to teach the basics of photographing the nude figure using studio lighting. The first part of the workshop will be an instructor-led discussion of the creative influences around how and why we photograph the nude figure, and what lighting techniques help fulfill these goals. The second part will be a hands-on demonstration of typical lighting set-ups for figure photography. The instructor will demonstrate the necessary equipment and techniques for lighting techniques the nude with studio strobes. Participants will photograph a live model.
