Theresa Escobedo is a multimedia artist currently living and working in Houston, Texas. She studied at the University of Houston and received a Bachelor Degree of Architecture in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design. She has also spent time as a student at the MFAH's Glassell School of Art, continuing her studies in photography and digital media.
Theresa’s most recent work makes use of both analog and digital instant photography to explore the complex nature of chronological time as it relates to people, to place, and to space.
In 2012 her work was featured during the 2012 FotoFest Biennial by The Lens Capsule in a mobile solo exhibition out of a commercial rental truck as well as the in 30th Annual Juried Membership Exhibition at HCP, which was juried by Anne Wilkes Tucker, the MFAH Gus and Lyndall Wortham Curator of Photography.

Registration for courses and workshops takes place through HCP's website on a first-come first-serve basis. HCP members receive discount on all of our education events. If this is your first time taking a course or workshop at HCP you will need to create a profile online; make sure to add the camp participant's name at the "student name" field. Registration will be complete upon receipt of the filled student form.
