Galina Kurlat was born in Moscow in 1981 and emigrated to the United States shortly after the fall of communism in 1989. She received her Bachelor of Media Arts Degree from Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute in 2005, she currently lives and works in Houston, TX. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is in a number of private collections. Galina has previously taught photography at SOCAPA Summer Camps in Brooklyn, NY. Here in Houston she combines her love of education and photography by teaching teen and adult classes at the Houston Center for Photography, while working with the centers outreach program.
Registration
Registration for courses and workshops takes place through HCP's website on a first-come first-serve basis. HCP members receive discount on all of our education events. If this is your first time taking a course or workshop at HCP you will need to create a profile online; make sure to add the camp participant's name at the "student name" field. Registration will be complete upon receipt of the filled student form.
