Advance your basic knowledge of Photoshop in this course dedicated to the many wonderful uses of layers!
Many believe layers represents the strongest feature of Photoshop. You'll learn the theory of layers, and how to use layers to recover from mistakes. You will learn how to use layers to dodge and burn, adjust light and color, and merge layers to combine different images creatively. You will explore layer masks and blending modes to determine how to apply layers to each other.
Early Registration (May 11-17) is for HCP members only.
This course includes:
- Definition and theory of layers
- Layer masks
- Techniques to blend multiple images for digital montages
- Introduction to High Dynamic Range
- Hands-on practice
- Feedback on your images
What to bring to class:
- CD or flash Drive with 3-5 images
Students taking this class should have basic Photoshop skills. The following HCP courses are recommended pre-requisites:
