Level: Beginning
Class Size: 10
Description:
Wondering what all the buttons on your small point-and-shoot camera do? In this introduction to shooting with a digital point-and-shoot camera, you’ll learn photo basics such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO. The instructor will provide hands-on instruction in the basic functions of the digital point-and-shoot camera using various dials, buttons and menus. In addition, you will learn about photo editing software and how to put your pictures onto your computer.
A point-and-shoot camera is a small camera that does not have fully manual settings and is designed primarily for simple operation. Most use focus-free lenses or autofocus for focusing, automatic systems for setting the exposure options, and have flash units built in.
