The Lightroom Library module forms the centerpiece of the whole Lightroom application. All the other modules-- Develop, Map, Book, Slideshow, Print, Map--are driven from the Lightroom Library. Lightroom has become a photographer's primary application because it shines as an image management system. This class will develop your skills and understanding in managing your images, importing, exporting, archiving collections as well as implementing strategies for organizing images using keywords, metadata, collections, and folders. We'll also examine "snapshots" and virtual image copies.
This is a companion course to "Post Capture Processing" which centers on the Lightroom Develop module.
Bring a set of 20-40 images to implement your Lightroom Catalog as the class progresses.
What students need to bring: CD or Flash Drive with several images
Suggested classes to continue education: Working with Layers, Retouching, Accelerated Processing
