 Houston's Industrial East End

2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Photo Safari: Houston's Industrial East End with Galina Kurlat January 27, 2:00 - 6:00pm $65 HCP Members / $85 non-members Level: All Levels Welcome Class Size: 20 Students Take a guided tour of Houston’s industrial East End with one of HCP’s award winning instructors. See in a completely new light the vast, dilapidated architecture of Houston’s once vibrant manufacturing neighborhoods. This four hour workshop will take you through many of the East End’s industrial landmarks, allowing plenty of time for exploring and shooting.
Each Photo Safari will begin with a 30 minute overview of basic composition skills and camera function including; ISO, aperture, shutter speed and white balance. Students are then encouraged to take photographs using the techniques they have learned in this short introduction. Small class sizes allow instructors to pay individual attention to students while on location.
This hands-on Photo Safari will encourage you to seek out new and exciting locations for your photo-shoots as well as enrich your future travel photography.
Sessions are open to photographers of all skill levels.
Recommended: DSLR, water bottles, comfortable shoes, extra memory card and battery, cell phone.
