Learn how to create large-scale negatives without a large format camera! The instructor will introduce the campers to the marvels of digital inkjet negatives and then demonstrate how to use them for contact printing in traditional cyanotype. In HCP’s digital darkroom students will learn all of the necessary steps for creating a quality digital negative. They will also learn the cyanotype process and by contact print their negatives using sunlight, and making prints in this alternative photographic process.
Snacks will be provided.
No prior knowledge needed.
What to Bring:
- Camera: Point-and-Shoot or DSLR Recommended
- Thumbdrive with 10 images
- 3 small objects such as: leaves, bottles, buttons, feathers, action figures, cookie cutters etc.
- Apron - optional
