Make the transfer to digital without giving up your old camera!
The instructor will demonstrate how to scan negatives into a computer, covering all the steps involved in converting your film, prints, or magazines into a digital image. Students begin by learning the proper way to clean a negative and find out how to handle image retouching with basic Photoshop techniques at the conclusion of the class. The instructor will also highlight scanning techniques using VueScan, as shareware program for any scanner. Learn what to expect from your scan regarding resolution and size. This class is a great introduction to digital for photographers who like to shoot film.

HCP is equipped with an Epson V700 flat bed scanner and a Nikon CoolScan 2000 and 8000.
