Large-scale photographic murals span wall lengths in Senstad´s project Light Writes Always in Plural. In 1997 Senstad began working with our sensorial experiences of light and color. Through her photography, she sought to investigate and translate into a visual experience the sensations that arise from our perception of the two elements. In photographing the behavioral patterns of her light sources - fluorescent bulbs - she arrests light´s movement and its effect on architectonic space. The work navigates through color as a monumental phenomenon.
