Focus on Hunger: From Vision to Exhibition

Please join Houston Center for Photography and the Houston Food Bank for a Focus on Hunger exhibition on Thursday, April 11th from 6-9pm. HCP and the Houston Food Bank are partnering to create an opportunity for local photographers to capture the story and faces of hunger. Work created in this workshop will be displayed at the Houston Food Bank as the Focus on Hunger exhibit. Focus on Hunger's goal is to open the eyes of the community to the issue of hunger in Houston, while also displaying the talent of the local, contributing artists.
This special workshop at HCP will provide the students with the experience of shooting new material, editing it according to their personal vision and narrative, and processing and printing it in HCP's Digital Darkroom. Get a glimpse of the photographic process from conception to exhibition opening with this workshop!
