I do not know my password to sign in, how can I get it?
You must create an online profile to register online for a course or workshop. If you have created an online profile for event registration, then you can submit your email in the last box and hit send. Your password will be emailed to you. HCP staff does not have access to the password list. If you have not created an online profile, click on the green create an online profile link above the login boxes, fill out the form and create a password in the Password box. The next time you register for a class you will sign-in using the email and password you entered.
My member number/temporary code does not work as my password, how do I sign in?
The password the system is looking for is one you created when creating your online profile. Your online profile and membership profile are separate databases in our systems. To create an online profile click on the green create an online profile link above the login boxes.
When I created my online profile I was not a member, now I am, do I need to create a new profile?
No, each time you log in you will be taken to the registration form. You can then update your address, member number, or phone number and It will be saved for next time.
My member number is entered, but it keeps giving me the non-member price.
If your member number is not working, it has either not been updated into the database yet or it has expired. If you are a new member or have recently renewed your membership, it can take up to 7 days for the system to update. Please call Rebecca Rossman at 713.529.4755 x17 to confirm your membership.
I would like to pay with cash or check instead of a credit card.
Payments for courses and workshops that are not credit cards must be done in person at HCP's gallery, 1441 West Alabama. Gallery Hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 11am - 5pm, Thursday 11am - 9pm.
My credit card says it is declined when I go to register.
Your credit card will be declined if the billing address does not match the address in your online profile. If the address is correct, please call your bank to see if there is a hold on the word Photography or Class.
When I go to finish registering, it says a duplicate transaction has been made.
If you have tried to register and have received a declined credit card message, you may receive a duplicate transaction message the second time. Close your web browser and start the registration process again. You will not need to create a profile again.
What do I do if I have to miss a class?
If you have to miss one day of class please contact Caroline Docwra at email@example.com. You will be able to make up that day in a different class with the same instructor, pending approval from HCP staff. Please take a look at the calendar to see which make-up day will fit your schedule.
What I have to miss more than one day of class?
If you have to miss more than one day of class, it is better to transfer to a different class. Please note that we need four days notice and that to transfer there is a $15 fee for any changes made by the student.
