HCP Instructor Mark Bagge

Biography

Originally from England, Mark Bagge is a photographic artist now living in Houston, Texas. Mark has lived and worked internationally and for many years focused on travel photography. He now works primarily with abstract images, many of which utilize instant film and plastic cameras, and then uses a digital workflow to create final prints. Inspired by Houston’s vibrant contemporary arts scene, the images provide an alternate, abstract viewpoint on everyday scenes. Mark's work is included in a number of corporate collections and was included in the 2010 show "Ruptures and Continuities" at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
