HCP Instructor Chuy Benitez

Biography

Chuy Benitez was born and raised on the East Side of El Paso, TX. He received his BA in Photography at the University of Notre Dame in 2005, and his MFA in Photography and Digital Media at the University of Houston. Viewing himself as a participant in the Chicano Art Movement, he concentrates on photographing the Mexican American lifestyle in the United States. His work has been exhibited throughout Houston and the US.
