Creatures of all sorts will be discovered during Houston Center for Photography’s 24th anniversary party at the Museum of Natural Science, Saturday, October 29 from 7-10 p.m.
Join us in this festive occasion as we party with our Triassic friends in the Paleontology Hall at the museum. With costumes optional, we hope to rediscover a few new species of creatures.
Immerse yourself in a world of Jurassic discovery as you enjoy fine food, spirits, and music by sound artist ________. Also, take a moment to check out the diverse items in the silent auction. HCP will feature works by Paul Hester, Peter Brown, David Crossley, Michele Grinstead Griffiths, as well as many “surprise” prints from previous Collectors’ Print Programs and more.
In addition to these great prints, HCP will also have exciting items for bid from Yvonne Betts Jewelry, Box and Box Custom Jewelry, contributions from local arts organizations and commemorative collectibles from HCP’s archives.
During the evening, we will be honoring Casey Williams as Photographer of the Year as well as students from our annual exhibition, “Collaborations”.
And don’t worry, no tricks, only treats will be awarded to raffle winners throughout the evening. Raffle tickets are just $10.
Admission tickets are $100 in advance and $120 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets please visit our Web site at
