Join us outdoors for free, in-person educational photography workshops while exploring the beautiful landscape of CityPlace at Springwoods Village in Spring, Texas. These community-driven workshops focus on photography as a means for creative expression and acquiring basic photography skills. No prior experience is necessary, and all levels of proficiency and camera types are welcome. Teens (16 years and older) and adults are welcome.

Each workshop will begin with a photography lesson at the CityPlace Plaza (pictured above) followed by time to explore and take photos, and will conclude with an informal critique.

NOTE: Online registration is required to participate in these workshops. Class size is limited to 9 students, and students are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.



February 27, 2021: Playing with Perspective: Learn how to use interesting perspectives, juxtapositions, and focal lengths to create photos with a “Wow!” factor. Any camera type is suitable.



March 27, 2021: Diptychs and Triptychs: Learn how to use two or three photos as a compositional storytelling tool. Any camera type is suitable.
