Jaime Leigh Sonnier holds a Masters in Photojournalism from The University of Texas at Austin and is a high school graduate of St. John’s School. She has run her photography studio business Casa de Camera for 19 years. Casa de Camera focuses on portraiture, commercial work, and families. Jaime also loves making colorful abstract art prints from her photographs. She prints those abstracts on fabrics and makes products for the home such as pillows, placemats, tea towels, and napkins. She has combined her passion for photography and her love with travel visiting Uganda, Ecuador, Cambodia, Singapore, Portugal, Ireland, Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize and Puerto Rico. In addition to running Casa de Camera, she just completed 8 years at Episcopal High School teaching photography to 9-12th graders. Houston is home with her husband Jon, and their two dogs Winnie and Dude. When she doesn’t have a camera in her hand, she loves gardening, cooking and yoga.
