In Focus: Summer Photography Camp
Houston Center for Photography is proud to introduce our first-ever Online Summer Camps for rising upper elementary and middle school students (incoming 5th-8th graders). Join us to be inspired, develop your photography skills, and build confidence through making. Have fun learning how to use your digital camera to compose great photographs while viewing your environment from new perspectives. Discover the history and science of cameras while creating pinhole cameras and cyanotypes out in the sun. Explore the genres of portraiture and landscape while learning different lighting techniques. No prior experience is needed. This online camp will include daily lessons, and check-ins with your class and instructor at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm via our online learning platform. In addition to those meetings, students will be provided with exclusive videos and worksheets to help students work on photography projects from home.
