The Learning Center Classes

Camera Basics | Saturday | 12 – 6 pm

Learn the principles of photography and start shooting in manual mode in just one day. This accelerated class will help you understand camera functions: shutter speed, aperture, focal length, ISO, and white balance, enabling you to grasp these concepts and make creative decisions when photographing the world around you.

Attention: This class has been moved online in response to the growing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Please register as you normally would, and Houston Center for Photography staff will update you with information and a link to take this course at it’s scheduled time. 

To participate in an online course, students will need access to a desktop, laptop, or tablet with an internet connection. If you have any questions about navigating our new system, please email education@hcponline.org for more information.
