Jumpstart your creativity from home with photographer and book artist Kelly Webeck! In this class, you will be provided with the tools to start and maintain your daily collage practice. Draw inspiration from masters of collage, such as Man Ray and Barbara Kruger. Each class will focus on a specific artist or period in art history. Students will develop their techniques, and through discussion, will learn to construct a narrative by combining imagery through layers. Homework assignments, carefully designed to foster creativity and invite reflection, will inspire you. Whether you are just beginning your artistic journey, are right in the middle of it, or are rejoining after a hiatus, you will leave this course with a sketchbook full of collages that will inspire you for years to come.
