Good composition is the essence of impactful images. But how do we define a “good composition?” In this course, your instructor will answer this question with tangible rules, so your technique can be more scientific than mystical. Similar to how learners of a new language use grammar to structure their sentences, aspiring photographers can use compositional elements to design their images. This course is part of a series of mini composition workshops. Sign up for one or all four mini-workshops and pave the way for creating intuitive, great compositions in your photography.
Line and Shape: Learn how to use of line and shape to make more dynamic images. Students will explore implied lines, leading lines, triangles, shape vs. form, and how to best present them!
