Cut & Paste: Collage for Teens | Tuesdays | 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Since Pablo Picasso first started cutting, ripping, pasting, and overlaying different textures and materials in his papiers collés, Collage has been a vital form of art-making. Jumpstart your creativity with this online class for teens! Students will work with Houston photographer and instructor, Laura Burlton, to learn techniques and strategies for crafting their own collages using photography and found materials. This class is ideal for teens between the ages of 12–17 (7th-12th grade) with any level of art experience. Students will learn new and different techniques each day as they move along the courses. Meet new friends and learn new skills in this new class at HCP!

Attention: This class has been moved online in response to the growing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Please register as you normally would, and Houston Center for Photography staff will update you with information and a link to take this course at it’s scheduled time.
