Do you have a project idea that you’ve been struggling to get going? Join this online seminar and work with artist and instructor, Violette Bule, to start and finish your next Photography Project. Structured around individual projects, this class is intended for those wishing to explore the practice of photography as a medium for creative expression and intellectual reflection. With an emphasis on experimentation, students are encouraged to expand their photographic skills, knowledge of techniques, and the overarching concepts that inform them. Through ongoing assignments, group critiques, and one-on-one meetings, students develop their photographic voice and define a personal approach to their practice as they consider cultural influences, personal experiences, photographic theory, and history.
Attention: This class has been moved online in response to the growing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Please register as you normally would, and Houston Center for Photography staff will update you with information and a link to take this course at it’s scheduled time.
