Light meters can be a friend or foe to a photographer. This course will help you handle exposure values, accurately calculate meter readings, apply the zone system in black and white and color, and understand histograms. You’ll also learn different metering options—from handheld to built-in. Instructor Laszlo Perlaky will show students different types of light meters and reveal how they meter on different reflective objects. Students will learn about Spot metering, evaluative metering, and selective metering to calculate the correct exposure. Don’t let those meters lie to you.
