Photographer’s Sketchbook II: Delving Deeper

Back by popular demand! This follow-up to Photographer’s Sketchbook: Building a Daily Practice enables students to delve deeper into their current sketchbook practice. Students are encouraged to experiment with and expand their skill set, knowledge of techniques, and the overarching concepts that inform them. Students will draw inspiration from the sketchbooks of established and emerging artists and discover what works best for them. Writing prompts as homework, carefully designed to increase visual literacy, foster creativity, and invite reflection will inspire you. You will leave this course with a sketchbook full of thoughtful meditations on photography and images that will inspire you for years to come.
