Structured around individual projects, this course is intended for those wishing to explore the practice of photography as a medium for creative expression and intellectual reflection. With an emphasis on experimentation, students are encouraged to expand their photographic skills and knowledge of techniques, and the overarching concepts that inform them.
Through ongoing assignments, group critiques, and one-on-one meetings, students develop their photographic voice and define a personal approach to their practice as they consider cultural influences, personal experiences, photographic theory and history.
